Sculpture

I'll admit it. I'm even worse at sculpting than I do paintings. But there's this thing with tutorial videos that make sculpting clay look so easy. I tried creating a cute dinosaur that's loosely based on media sources such as Rex from Super Mario World and Totodile from Pokemon. I was ambitious enough to perform it on air-dry clay instead of modeling clay. That proved to be the biggest concern.

I only used white air-dry clay. Resources from the internet suggested that I paint my sculpture using acrylic or poster paint. It was annoying enough to wait for the paint to dry, and how light cobalt blue looked upon the first layer of paint. You can probably see the inconsistency of paint from the photo I provided, but I find my work to be pretty cute for someone not even close to adept at sculpting.

If time and resources would permit, I'd love to redo this project. I'd use modeling clay as my medium instead of the air-dry variant so I can sculpt easier.
