Painting

「 Art is not just the image of something in life. It is also a vision; an insight into one's experiences and life.」

For our painting project, I've decided to make a painting of a silhouette of a tree and an old well perched so still atop a hill. I've chosen to paint this as it gives off an impression of a serene landscape, where you can just lie down and relax. The somewhat lifeless landscape is juxtaposed with the bright and explosive sunset, which further provides the feeling to take a rest and call it a day.
